The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality will install 100 mobile waste docking stations at different points of the city in order to provide recycling of metal and plastic waste. The citizens of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality will be able to earn credit for Istanbul Kart from waste by means of “Smart Mobile Waste Transfer Automation”, which will be used for the evaluation of the wastes that can be recycled. Vending machines such as paper, metal and plastic will handle recyclable wastes, as credit to “Istanbul Kart”, which is used as a payment tool in city transportation systems as much as the value of recycling.
