T.C Ministry of Environment and Urbanism initiated the 2019-2022 National Smart Cities Strategy and Action Plan Project to be carried out by TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Software Technologies Research Institute. The Project consists of current situation analysis, creating strategy and action plan and monitoring and evaluation phases. In this phases, activities such as face to face interviews, on-site inspections, analysis of strategy and legislation documents will be carried out. 2019-2022 National Smart Cities Strategy and Action Plan Project, which includes a systematic, structural and integrated monitoring and evaluation mechanism, with the use of maturity model and consistent with top policy documents and thematic strategies, built with common intelligence with the participation of all ecosystem stakeholders, is targeted to be completed in 2018.
